ICC Ranking: Team India beat Sri Lanka 2-0 in the Test series. Fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah was instrumental in India’s victory. His superb bowling has given him an advantage in the recently released ICC Test rankings. Bumrah is ranked fourth in the ICC Test bowlers’ list. He has jumped six places. Sri Lankan batsman Dimuth Karunaratne also benefited and moved up to the fifth position.
Jasprit Bumrah took 10 wickets in the Test series against Sri Lanka. His performance in two matches has given him this advantage in the rankings. Along with Bumrah, veteran spinner Ravichandran Ashwin also remains at the second position in the list. Ashwin currently has 850 points and Bumrah is at 830 points. Pat Cummins tops the list with 892 points. South Africa’s Kagiso Rabada is third with 835 points.

Virat’s fall in batting
Sri Lanka’s Dimuth Karunaratne has moved up three places to fifth position in the rankings. Virat Kohli, on the other hand, has suffered a huge loss. It has slipped four places to ninth. Rishabh Pant is in 10th position while captain Rohit Sharma is in the sixth position.
